1. What are the commission charges?
Tutor Request is free, no commission will be charged on the customer, charge will levied on the tutor.

2. Do you verify the tutors qualification?
We encourage our tutors to send in their qualifications and to provide accurate information in their application. On the first lesson, you will be able to re-verify their qualifications as tutors are expected to produce a photocopy of their qualification upon request.

3. Is requesting for a tutor free?
Yes! Requesting for a tutor is FOC, you will only have to pay for the number of lessons your tutor conducted.

4. How do I request for a tutor?
You can request for a tutor by kindly filling up our online request form (i.e. 'Request For A Tutor' or 'Engage A Tutor From Us' links above), or send us an email or SMS expressing your interest to engage our service and we will get back to you asap.

5. Can I change the tutor if I find that he/she is not suitable?
Yes, you may do so. Excellent Tuition Network will replace a new tutor for your child. But you will have to pay for the number of lessons conducted by the previous tutor accordingly.

6. How does Excellent Tuition Network collect the commission?
For the first month, customer will pay 50% of the tuition fees to the tutor. Excellent Tuition Network will collect the other 50% as commission charge.

7. How do I make payment?
Payment methods: ATM Bank Transfer, Cheque or via Cash

- An official receipt will be issued on the spot for cash payments. For cheque or funds transfer, the official receipt will be mailed to you after payment (Cheque) has been received (cleared).


Tutors / Teachers

1. What are the commission charges?
Excellent Tuition Network will collect 50% of the first month's tuition fee as commission charge.

2. How do I make payment?
Tutors will collect 50% of the tuition fee for the first month from the customer; tutors are not to collect the commission charge on behalf of Excellent Tuition Network.

3. Is there an age limit for registration?
Yes. Tutors have to be at least 17 years of age.

4. What is the minimum qualification to register?
Tutors must have at least an 'O' Level certificate.

5. Is tutor registration free?
Yes! Tutor registration is FOC.

6. Do I have to send in my certificates as a proof of my qualification?
You are encouraged to do so by sending the relevant documents to our email although this is not necessary. However, you must produce a photocopy of your qualification on the first lesson for the parent's perusal when requested.

7. What do I prepare for the first lesson?
- Find out how to get to your tutee's place
- Be punctual
- Bring along a photocopy of your qualification if requested by the parent
- Bring teaching materials (if any)

8. What will happen if I terminate the tuition assignment before the first lesson?
You will not be paid and will be liable to pay Excellent Tuition Network a penalty of SGD$30 for administrative charge.
